Moving really took a toll on my workouts. At first I was just too busy, and then I just plain got lazy. I was inconsistent at best. My old routine is no longer working for me.
I’m drawing a line in the sand. It is spring time and the weather is gorgeous out. I have no excuses anymore!

I live across from a huge and gorgeous park where it is so easy for me to take Baby D on walks. Plus, he loves being outside. Why wouldn’t I want to take him to play at the park??
For the next 4 weeks, I’m doing Bobbi’s Summer Shred. I’m also co-teaching a lot at barre right now, so with a mix of those three it is sure to get me whipped into shape!
It’s amazing how fast we can lose our fitness if we don’t do anything for several months. It is humbling to say I’m a fitness professional and personal trainer and be huffing and puffing. However, I’m a real life human being and that makes me more relatable. Life happens friends!
Fitness should never be your life… it should be a part of it.
After my first (humbling) workout, I made sure to fuel myself well.
My Power Bowl was a mix of healthy fats, protein, and carbs. A must for every meal/snack! I also added pink Himalayan sea salt because I sweat so much!
With the warm weather, I paired it with a refreshing Zevia! Zevia is naturally sweetened, zero calorie soda that comes in 15 amazing flavors! My favorites (in no particular order) are: Ginger Ale, Grape, Ginger Root Beer, Black Cherry, Grapefruit Citrus, and Cream Soda.
