Merry Christmas and Happy New Year… really late!
Yes, yes, I know. It has been almost a month since I’ve been here. I missed sharing Baby Girl’s birthday, Christmas, New Year, and life with you all.
Honestly, the older (more mature? wiser? ha!) I get, the less I want to be on social media. The older my kids get, the more I want to protect them. I don’t want them to see mommy on her phone browsing social media, or stuck on her computer because a blog deadline is due. BUT I’ve said all this before, no reason to say it again!
Instead of doing 2-3 posts and because I’m a wee bit lazy, how about a Christmas photo dump??
Home on Christmas:
Reading the Christmas Story (those cheeks though!!)
Is professional present opener a job?? 😉
My husband knows me well.
Best present ever. Tent and a tunnel. Kept the kids busy for days!
Christmas in Tennessee:
A boy and his tractor.
Baby girl with Aunt Dawn!
Ladies on my side of the family.
Some of the girl cousins.
These babies love their books!
That’s about all the Christmas pics I took! I honestly forget to take pictures anymore. Before, I was always snapping away so that I could blog, now I don’t even think about it. This year we got home right before New Year’s Eve!
I have absolutely no pictures from New Year’s Eve. LOL! We did eat at Simply Thai (takeout) in honor of our NYE 3 years ago!
3 years ago on NYE we found out about Baby D! That night we went to see a movie and to eat at Simply Thai. We are making it our annual tradition now. Do y’all know how hard it was to not tell everyone in the world about the possibility of Baby D?!?
New Year, new intentions … we all tend to think of this come the new year right? I’m not usually a fan of New Year Resolutions because people have these great expectations and end up ditching it by the end of January, or maybe that’s just me?? 😉
Any who, a few years ago we starting setting intentions and goals for our family. Ever since Baby D came along, we kinda tossed that out the window. We were just trying to survive! HA! This year I want to set them again. I need to think on it though and be intentional. Maybe y’all can help me out??
How was your Christmas?
What are some of your New Year intentions/ resolutions??
