My heart is so full of love after this weekend!
Luvy surprised me with a breakfast date on Saturday. He found a new to us restaurant here in Louisville, got a baby sitter for BOTH kids, and planned the whole thing.
He took me to Con Huevos for a fresh Mexican breakfast.
I won’t lie. I missed my babies (even thought we were only gone for 2 hours!), but it was nice to just sit and chat just the two of us. It had been a very long time since we had done that!
The food was absolutely incredible! We got the omelette and hues rancheros…. and Luvy got a pancake.
They made both dishes gluten and diary free, and they were so accommodating. The only thing I wish was different was that they sold local coffee. Louisville has amazing coffee roasters here in the city, and I love when local restaurants serve their coffee.
That afternoon, some amazing friends of ours had a baby shower for Baby D2. We didn’t get to do it before she was born since I was so sick.
We had an amazing time. I meant to get a group picture, but I totally forgot!
Baby D loved opening all the presents, and he was so excited to show off his sissy to everyone.
On Valentine’s Day, we went to church then came home and took it easy.
We had lots of leftover baby shower cake, so we had Valentine’s cake. Baby D loves Annie May’s cakes and cupcakes!
Of course, his cake had to have “fire” on it. He loves to blow out candles!
Valentine’s Day is a great day to show people that you love just how special they are. However, don’t stop at Valentine’s Day. Make sure you are showing the people you love how much they mean to you every day!
I hope you were full of love this past weekend!
Did you do anything special over the weekend?
Valentine’s Day.. yay or nay?
