Long time no chat, eh? I feel like I’ve been all over the place lately!
(How cute is this?!?)
I was doing (IMHO) great blogging on the “regular”, but then November hit. I do some “extra” things other than staying home with my sweet kids. As you all know, I consider that my primary role.
Normally, my extras aren’t a big deal, but in the month of November everything hit all at once.
The first weekend of November, I had Refresh Summit.
Although I was a host, those women blessed me more than they know.
It’s funny how when I talk about Refresh, I can’t put it into words. I just don’t know how to properly describe my feelings. It’s one of those things that you just have to experience.
The following weekend, I was away from my babies and husband again at a laser course. Most of you know, I’m a dental hygienist. I have been working part time at a local office here for about 6 months now. It is a nice way to get out of the house and keep up my license.
Since I was in the laser certification on game day, I had a little fun with my laser. 😉
This past weekend, I have B.Barre refresher training.
Our studio has a physical therapist on staff, so we are always modifying and changing up our method to be the safest and most effective barre method. It was so fun being around all the awesome and inspiring women, but again I was away from my kiddos.
All awesome things, but they all came at once. My kids are so confused with why mommy has been gone. When you are their primary care source 6 days a week, they get totally thrown off and confused when things change.
They haven’t been sleeping well, and they are much more clingy. I don’t mind the extra snuggles, however the loss of sleep I could do without. 😉
My sweet husband has been picking up all the slack. I’m so incredibly thankful he can do that, and he is amazing with them. Seriously, he could be a single dad way before I could be a single mom. I don’t just say that. He really does have it all together…. I just pretend to.
Of course, this week we will all be together for Thanksgiving. That will be a welcomed change! I’m THANKFUL for a season of rest!
Tomorrow, I have an amazing gluten free, grain free, and dairy free pumpkin pie recipe that will win anyone over! I mean to post it last year, but I was a little pregnant… 🙂
See y’all tomorrow!
