Teething this time around is all about surviving!
Baby Girl is so different than her big brother. At the time, I thought Baby Delight had a hard time with teething… that was then.
After seeing other babies, I realized that Baby Delight was a breeze.
Poor Baby Girl is not having a very fun time with teething. She drools, chews, and fusses. Baby Girl also has a hard time with sleeping through the night thanks to these little buggers. Her teeth aren’t all coming in at once like Baby D’s did, so it drags it out for her. Breaks this mama’s heart.
Surviving teething for me means lots of coffee and some good anti aging eye cream. 😉 For her, I used all my tricks that I talked about in my post What Helped Us with Baby Teething. The oils are a God sent and really seem to help her, but what really helps baby girl is chewing on something cold.
As a Nuby Parent Blogger, I was sent Nuby’s Teethe & Play Teether to review.
Game changer! It stays cold so long for Baby Girl because it has gel instead of water in it, plus it has other fun things for her to play with on it. The little colorful tags on the other end make crinkling (is that a real word?!) noises that she is intrigued by!
This is by far her favorite teether. We take it everywhere with us, because it is small and the perfect size for a little toy for her. It just has the added benefit of being able to freeze for her gums. It is BPA free too! You can pick one up at Walmart!
It’s amazing how different one baby can be from the next. Baby D was easily distracted from his teeth and didn’t need to chew on something all the time. I’m so glad Nuby sent us this, because I probably wouldn’t have thought to buy something like this for her since I didn’t need it for Baby D.
Mama’s, what helped your littles with teething?
