It is the end of October, and it reached 80 degrees here yesterday.
I’m such a fan of warm weather, so you will never hear me complain of an Indian Summer.
Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie to the rescue!
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
- 4-5 ice cubes
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 1/2 scoop Vega One Vanilla Nutritional Shake
- 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice
- handful of spinach
- Add all ingredients to your blender. Blend until smooth.
- You may need more milk depending on your blender and the texture you want.
This was my first time trying pumpkin in a smoothie. It was awesome! I love the savory texture and taste that the pumpkin and the pumpkin spice gives. Just what I needed to satisfy my fall palate, yet give me something cool and refreshing.
