I’m so glad you all enjoyed my post/ soapbox rant yesterday.
While we are all still in the holiday and vacation mode, I thought I would share my new favorite smoothie with you all.
Plus, it is perfect for around the 4th. I mean really, what is more American than the good ol’ fashioned PB&J??
When you are hot in the summertime, how about having that peanut butter and jelly in smoothie form?
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup frozen blackberries (or berries of choice)
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1- 1.5 cups milk (I used Silk Vanilla Almondmilk)
- 2 Tablespoons of PB2
- 1 tsp maca (optional)
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)
- Put everything in blender and blend!
I used the protein powder in mine since it was post workout. Feel free to take it or leave it.
This is hands down my go to smoothie right now.
Bell Plantation sent me some of the PB2 to try out, and it is absolutely perfect in my smoothies.
A birdy tells me that if you come back on Thursday there might be something in it for you. Since this is my birthday month and all…. 😉
