I feel like our family is in a season of new.
Lots of changing are on the horizon for our family (and I can’t wait to share them!!).
If you know me or have read the blog for a while, you know I don’t deal well with change. I’m a creature of habit.
I started off my weekend by getting my hair cut. Yet another thing that I don’t like.
(Wow… I’m negative Nancy today..)
How ‘bout that fro???!!
It turned out great! I actually went to a new person this time.
My new girl specializes in curly hair and I can so tell! It is a bit shorter than I expected, but I love it!
In fact, Luvy said this is the best he has ever seen my hair in a while.
I think maybe next time I might actually enjoy getting my hair done! 🙂
We also celebrated Luvy’s birthday this weekend. Actually, Baby D and I just gave gifts…. we have some big things we are preparing for this week, so we are celebrating next weekend.
Happy 32 Luvy! 32 looks good on you!
Saturday we had lunch with a college friend of mine and her family at North End Cafe. Lindsey and I were acquaintances in college, and it was really cool to reconnect with her and her husband, TJ, and 2 very sweet boys. I’m so excited to have them here and for us to all hang out again soon.
It was so fun to chat about our college days! I wish I had gotten a pic of us… next time!
Something else new… Baby D cut a new tooth last week. It is is lateral (not the middle tooth). Friends of mine that know I’m in the dental field ask me if this is normal and I laugh and say yes. Now that my baby is getting is lateral first I’m like “NOOOO…”.
(you can barely see the tooth on the upper right)
Not because anything is wrong. He will just look like a sabertooth tiger for a bit. 😉 Good thing he is so stinking cute!
Also new, baby proofing commences this week. We now have a grabber.
I think he’s a bit young for Bob Harper workouts… right?
Sorry for the lack of pictures… I’ve been a bit preoccupied.
Now, I’m off to do some top secret things. Don’t worry.. I’ll fill you in later this week!
I hope you all have a Marvelous Monday!
Do you embrace new or is change hard for you?
