Nature Box Review and Discount Code

by Brittany on January 10, 2013

A while ago, NatureBox contacted to me to see if I would be interested in reviewing a box of goodies for them.  Of course I said yes!  Then came my sickness, the holidays, and so forth.  I’m so excited to share my review with you all today!

A little bit about NatureBox first.  They are a healthy snack company.  All of their products are minimally processed and there is nothing artificial in them.  They also use no high fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated oils.  For $19.95 a month, they choose 5 nutritionist approved snacks to send you.  If you don’t want a box that month, you can pause or cancel your subscription anytime.  Plus, if there is something that you love in your box, you can request it in your next box!  I love that!!

I noticed that the ingredient list on all my goodies was very minimal, which I appreciate!

Also, for every box that NatureBox sends out each month, they donate one meal to help feed the over 14 million children in America who go hungry.

For a snacky person like me, they are right up my alley!

The only downfall is that it may not be good for those with serious food allergies considering all the products are packed in a facility with tree nuts, peanuts, milk, wheat, and soy.

Now, on to the snacks.

1.  Wild Blueberry Flax Granola.

This has Barley Malt Syrup in it, so it isn’t GF.  Luvy had to test this one for me.  He really liked it, but he thought it was too sweet on its own.  Perfect topping for yogurt or oats!

2. Masa Crisps

Crisps

Another Luvy review!  He said these remind him of corn chips… but healthier!

3. Lemon Pucker Pistachios

Pistachios

The first time I tried these, I didn’t care for them because I had just brushed my teeth.  However, now I’m addicted.  I didn’t think I would like lemon on my pistachios, but it has grown on me!

4. Dried Pears

Pears

Tied for my favorite in my box!  I love that there is no added sugar to these!

5. Pistachio Power Clusters

Clusters

My other favorite!!  I love the mix of almond, cashew, and pistachio.  There is like a sweet and salty mix to these that makes them highly addictive.

What to get your own NatureBox?  They are offering my readers 25% off your first month’s subscription!  Use the PROMO code PISTACHIO for this discount.

**I was sent NatureBox to review free of charge.  However, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Love the idea of a healthy snack delivery box! I’ve never tried a monthly subscription service, mostly because a lot of them aren’t Canadian friendly :(

I’ve seen so many awesome reviews about Nature Box! I think they’ve got a great thing going for ‘em… And major yum to the snacks! I’ve seen something similar to those clusters at Costco before and have been tempted to get them, only pitfall is it’s a 5+ pound bag :P

I’m a bit biased towards the company since their media relations contact happens to be one of my best friends from college. :)

However, she once surprised me with a box and the granola they mailed me was DIVINE. It was a rather ‘plain’ flavor, not too sweet at all, and I was only sad I couldn’t get more! In fact, that is the only sad thing about most of these subscriptions I find…usually if you love something you can’t find it again. :(

Considering I loooove snacking and do it at all hours of the day, I should probably try this so that I’m at least snacking on healthy things instead!! :)
