I have to admit to you all that I was hoping for a snow day today. It would have made our schedule crazy for the rest of the year, but we didn’t have any snow days last year!
Friday we got some freezing rain and snow. Luvy came home from work early because the roads were getting slick.
We were snowed in until later in the morning/early afternoon on Saturday.
However, that afternoon we were on a mission.
Bobbi, her husband, Matt, and their new little girl, Rylee were in from California, and they were only 2.5 hours away!
I have been dying to meet little Rylee, and I have been missing Bobbi. It is not fair that they live all the way across the country!! 🙂
Rylee was the sweetest little thing ever. Such a happy baby!
Doesn’t Luvy look like a natural?? 😉
We walked around the Opryland Hotel for a bit before Luvy and I had to head back.
It was dark and there was a second storm about to hit that was bringing more snow and ice.
It didn’t do as much as they were expecting on Sunday, but the roads were still slick.
We ended up canceling all of our church services for the day.
Luvy and I had Couchside Baptist. 😉
We read out of the Children’s Storybook Bible! We can’t wait to have a little one of our own to read to out of it.
Until then, we will keep practicing on each other. 😉
Even though we didn’t have a snow day today, it is going to be a Marvelous Monday!
What did you do this weekend?
Any snow where you are?
