Today, I have the blessing of getting to partner with Deer Park® Brand Nature’s Blends™ Fruit Flavored Beverages to chat about how we celebrate naturally.
This goes perfectly with Marvelous In My Monday, because we had a marvelous weekend celebrating life with friends!
We didn’t have anything big to celebrate- just the joys of life and friendship. In reality, that is a pretty big deal.
Our friends Cameron and Melanie are new to the city, and we are loving hanging out with them. Plus, they are foodies like us!
So naturally, we celebrated with lots of fresh food.
Tomatoes right from the garden and fresh salad. Just how nature intended it.
Green bean and lentil salad.
And for the main course, red lentil and coconut soup. This was Melanie’s creation and it was to die for. Maybe I can get the recipe for us??
After dinner, Melanie and I took the kiddos out for a walk in the stroller while the men rode bikes.
Perfect way to wind down the day! There is nothing like walking outside, breathing fresh air, and just allowing yourself to relax.
Plus, counting the stars with their little guy was pretty amazing.
Sometimes, I think we forget to celebrate the small things in life.
We forget to stop and just see the marvelous things around us and the natural beauty that surrounds us.
