Friday’s 5 Delights and Delectables Edition

by Brittany on February 1, 2013

Happy Friday!!

Thanks for sticking by after yesterday’s rant.  :)  Today I’m in a great mood!

I am constantly amazed at how God puts people and things in our life exactly when we need them.  I needed a pick me up this week.

This week I was bombarded with uplifting e-mails, texts, phone calls, and gifts!  I choose not to believe in coincidences and give the praise and glory to God!

This weeks Friday’s Five is a Delights and Delectables Edition.  :)

1. I woke up to snow this morning.  All the schools are out.  That will make my shopping interesting.. lol!  However, Luvy got to sleep in a little later and go into work later!  Yippeee!!

2. Miss Smart sent me some Nutty Butter!!  I already dug in.  Half the jar is gone.  **hangs head in shame**

Photo 3

13 days til I get to see her beautiful face.  Not that I’m counting or anything…. ;)

3. Chobani sent me a care package yesterday.

Notice one is already missing??  #badluvy

Then, another one arrived this morning!  #tastereal  Luvy is in heaven!

Plus, I got 2 awesome spoons.  I threatened Luvy that he better not touch my spoons.  :)  I collect cool spoons… and only I can use them.  I’m weird.

4. Luvy found this new (to us) Simple Truth unsweetened almond milk at Kroger.  I didn’t expect to like it, but it is good!

And look, no carrageenan!

5. I’m about to go kick my tush with workout 3 from Best Body Bootcamp.  Tina is a killer…. in a great way!

This is the end of week 4, so I’ll post my 1/2 way recap next week.

What has been your favorite Delights or Delectables??

What are you up to this weekend?

Ravens or 49ers??  (I’m there for the commercials… Peyton isn’t playing so I don’t care!)

I freaking love those people at Chobani!! And I’m in a major Chobani heaven. My parents asked if they were allowed to try them too. ;)

I’ve got a lot of writing to do this weekend! [You know for what... ;) ] And perhaps a little research into things I want to do when I come visit? [Except for just chat away, which I'm sure we won't have a problem accomplishing...]

SO glad you like the Nutty Butter! Chai is one of my favorites.

I am jealous you got the fig flavor Chobani! But beggars can’t be choosers, and I’m happy to have anything at all. [You got TWO packages? I wonder if I have another one coming too...]

I really love Kroger right now. They have been making some really great products, and very cost efficient and everything!

The fig flavor has been saved for you! :) I can’t wait for all of our shenanigans next weekend!

Chai nut butter?? That looks amazing. I’m jealous. And I can’t believe that schools are out for THAT much snow!! The school boards in your part clearly have not seen Canada…

lol… here in Kentucky they freak out about a CHANCE of snow. We don’t get much snow. Have you ever had Sarah’s Nutty Butter?? It is amazing!

We’re in Columbia for a wedding this weekend, so no snow for me. Sad :( It’s terrible timing with the amazing snow we’re getting in Colorado – yes, selfish moment.

aww! I would love to come visit for just a little while in CO so I could see some snow! Then, take me back to warmer weather. I’m such a baby when it comes to cold!

I’ve been seeing those Chobani packages everywhere, and I’m so completely jealous because we don’t get them up here in Canada :( I’d love to try all the flavors, but I’m secretly the most jealous about the spoons… I love cute spoons too so I’m thinking that a spoon shopping trip will be in order this weekend to make myself feel a little better.

I am so glad you have noticed carrageenan and no its effects! After I learned about it I have been making my own almond milk, not as tasty, but worth it. I will have to look for simple truth next time I am in the store, thank you for sharing. Sending you love and shine. Courtstar
