TGIF! Did any of you used to watch that back in the day??
I loved Step by Step, Boy Meets World, and Sister, Sister. My parents would never let me stay up until 10 to watch the 9:30 show, so I would always stay with my mamaw on Friday’s because she would let me have ice cream and stay up! :) That’s what grandparents are for right?
Friday Five is back this week!! Let’s get to it.
1. I was so exhausted last night, I went to bed at 9:30. That means I got 10 hours of sleep! I can’t tell you the last time I went to bed that early!!
2. Wednesday, I had an awesome Skype date with this girl. I’m hoping to have a chat session with this girl today or tomorrow! I love that God has provided real life friends through blogging.
3. Speaking of real life friends… BLEND 2013 was announced! It is on mine and Luvy’s 5 year anniversary. Here’s to hoping he will want to spend it in Utah! I have been looking forward to Blend since the day after last years. I don’t even think I can link all the girls I can’t wait to give hugs to again…. and meet for the first time in person!
4. My girl Meg and I did a foodie exchange. She sent me some awesome gluten free hot cereal and 3 of David’s Tea’s!! I have been in tea heaven. Thank you Meg!!
5. I’m going today to get my hair cut for the first time since May (right before Blend!). I am terrified of getting my hair cut. My usual girl, Jill, can’t cut my hair, so I’m seeing another one of the stylists, Patty. I’m nervous but excited since Patty specializes in curly hair! Wish me luck!! I LOVED TGIF!!! I knew we were friends for a good reason.
And I hope you and Luvy spend your anniversary in Utah because I’d be so sad if I didn’t get to see you at Blend!
Why do we have to live so far apart?? If I don’t get to see you at Blend, I may have to make a trip to Chicago! I love it there!!
I used to love watching TGIF! Especially when Full House was still on it

I am so TERRIFIED of having my hair cut! I’ve had some not so pleasant experiences where I ended up with a lopsided bob when I just went in for a trim >.<

I loved TGIF! I always wait forever to get my hair cut, too! I usually only get it cut like 3 times a year! Oops!

OK, now that that is out of the way…good luck with your haircut! I had mine cut yesterday for the first time by someone other than my beloved Kevin, who has cut my hair since I was 13. (!!!) It turned out beautifully. I know yours will too.

I LOVED TGIF! I really wish they still had something like that on Friday nights! My parents always told us we could stay up and watch the whole 2 hours, without fail we were all sleeping by 9.
lol… I don’t think I would have made it to 9 either. Where was DVR when we needed it?!?!
LOL! Exactly! My kids don’t know how easy they have it! All of the movies on Disney channel, they just record them.

Here’s hoping you’ll want to spend your anniversary at Blend, but if not, then I’d totally understand. My husband might tag along as well because he’s always wanted to see Utah. Of course, he won’t be attending Blend events with me, but maybe they can go out and do guy stuff (guy stuff for my husband = photography and eating) while we sweat it out
